“I’ve had several visits to Clare’s (Dogs, Inc.) boarding facility in my work as an export Veterinarian.  I am very impressed with Clare’s home boarding environment.  It is wonderful to see the animals exercised on the Sai Kung walking trails and the level of safety and cleanliness at her location is exceptional.  I have no hesitation in recommending Dogs, Inc. for your boarding and dog training needs.

“Dogs Inc is like a holiday resort for Taz. Clare’s knowledge of the local area ensure that dogs are taken to magical secret spots for their off leash walks. In addition, they are able to laze/sunbathe their days away in an open plan area. As a veterinarian, I am quite particular about where I board my dog and have no hesitation in recommending Dogs Inc.”

“I cannot recommend Clare highly enough. Her skills, patience and enthusiasm made each training session an exercise in pleasurable time spent with our dog, rather than our usual frustration. Our dog loves her and so do we!”

I have been taking care of a Tibetan Mastiff which was delivered to us in a total abysmal state some ten months ago. So bad, that the only thing one could ask oneself was how to get him back into a normal “dog state of mind”. That meant not to demand anything from him but just to make him feel good. Over the months he started to change and it became clear that I needed a dog trainer. Luckily we ran into each other by chance and you offered your services. To me that day was a blessing because without you, I am sure, I would never have gotten Buddy to the present much improved state. Your analysis and your method, including the fact that you teach the handler/owner, are remarkable and I can only say that I love your approach and services because obviously you do achieve results.

Clare is incredibly knowledgeable as well as patient and kind with my dog Tipsy. I have found her incredibly helpful and committed to making sure she is well looked after and that she has lots of fun on her walks while I am at work. I even get daily photos sent to my mobile phone to show me exactly what mischief she has been getting into!

We hired Clare Lock of Dogs, Inc. to train our Weimeraner puppy and are extremely happy that we did. Clare did a wonderful job with a rather difficult puppy using different techniques to make the learning experience fun and effective. Clare is very calm, patient and used positive reinforcement throughout the training. We are very satisfied with the results and highly recommend Clare for dog training

Clare has been such a huge help to us and our Helpers with our huge hairy dogs. She is endlessly patient and has a real affinity with both dogs and owners.

From the moment Clare walked into our house, our rather strong willed terrier Dasher became a co-operative and obedient puppy. She clearly has a wonderful connection with the animals, and a very kind but effective way or working with them, and their owners.
We have found Clare to be extremely professional, and with a deep understanding of dogs and their ways. It is a real pleasure to watch her with Dasher, and to learn from her about how best to interact with our dog – The only downside is that Dasher is far more excited and happy to see Clare than she is when the rest of us come home!..But she has made owning our dog and much more rewarding experience, and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her services.

“It’s rather difficult to keep this recommendation to just a few sentences as I have nothing but high praise for the love and care Alfie receives while staying with Clare and her family.
When we pull up to her house he runs as fast as he can to get to the front door while I try to keep up. He is well cared for in every way including daily walks, loving cuddles and lots of socialising and play with his other holiday camp mates. It is exactly that….a holiday camp for dogs. I can’t even say the name Clare without Alfie going crazy! Thank you so much for providing this loving environment for Alfie!’

We are pretty sure that Quincy loves to go to Clare’s house even more than he loves to be at home with us! He gets to play freely with his dog buddies, go for long walks and gets loving attention and brushing regularly. Clare is always very diligent about sending pictures to update us on his daily activities so we can see everything going on, which gives us great peace of mind as we are away. Thank you for making our adventures away equally fun adventures for Quincy!
Clare helped us to train our rescue chow chow who was having some issues with aggression towards non family members. Clare worked with us to put in place some practical tips to minimise his triggers and some training techniques to re direct him and reward the right behaviours. What makes me so grateful to Clare is that she really understood how stressful the situation was for us as a family while at the same time showing such compassion and caring towards our dog. At no point did we feel we had a ‘bad dog’, but rather one who needed some help to make the right decisions. She did house calls but was also at the end of the phone when we needed her and helped us turn an incredibly stressful situation around. Our dog is significantly better as a result, we know now how to manage him when he is stressed, and we are so grateful to Clare.
